Mary
S. Moffat --- My Dogs
Here is Rooskie
learning to jump at two years old.
While below is a
picture of Rooskie Taking a Bow.

Take a Bow, Rooskie
Rooskie is now trying
Heelwork to Music and here he is bowing
Rooskie now has his
own online Diary. See below.
Below you will see
the names of my dogs and if you click on them you will find photographs
of them and notes about them. But first a few general remarks.
My dogs mean the world
to me. They have given me so much. I have trained them and have
competed in open and championship shows. I have taken my little
Papillons into Working Trials alongside the big dogs and I have
qualified two of them CD.Ex. (Companion Dog Excellent - the first
Working Trials qualification). My present young dog has the the
Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog certificates Bronze and Silver. He
has also just taken up Heelwork to Music and has passed the test
for the Paws and Music Association's Progress Award Level 1 Musical
Dressage with Merit.
Through training and competition
I have visited many places and met many people whom I would not
have met otherwise and I really appreciate the experience. My
dogs have also helped with my writing. They have given me ideas
and have helped to explore the settings. My dogs are also responsible
for another of my interests -- photography.
Above all all my dogs have
been great companions who have given me all their love.
Click
on the following names for details and photographs. There are
lots of photographs so please be patient.
A tiny chihuahua who introduced
me to the world of dogdom.
A little Papillon with
a big heart who took me into Obedience and Working Trials.
Another brave little Papillon.
Another Papillon. Kennel
Club Good Citizen Dog -- Bronze and Silver. Progress Award of
the Paws and Music Association. Musical Dressage Level 1 passed
with Merit.
In effect this is Rooskie's
own online
diary as he has his own section at the end of the entry for each month.
The Rooskie Press is my own imprint and the first book to be published
under it is Solway
Sleuth-Hounds. Newsletter
charts progress
of the Rooskie Press and of Solway Sleuth-Hounds. Also
includes details of Rooskie and his attempts at Heelwork to Music.
The Rooskie Press
is my own imprint. It is hoped that this newsletter will be updated
monthly. It will be divided into roughly three sections all under
clear headings. The first section will be about the Rooskie Press and its books -- both those already in print and
also books which I am working on. The second section will be about
me personally. This will include a great deal about my holiday
chalet at Southerness on the shores of the Solway Firth. The final
section will be about Rooskie since he gave his name to the Press
-- his training and his progress in Heelwork to Music.
This arrangement means
that you will be able to select the parts of the newsletter which
will be of most interest to you. If you are mainly interested
in the progress of this particular self-publishing project, then
you can just read the first section. But if your main interest
is dogs and dog training then you can miss out the book section
and scroll straight to the dog sections.
