Solway Photographs --- Kippford --Buildings and Street

Kippford is the village which provided the inspiration for Kettleby in Ghost Dog of the Solway. Below is a photograph of Kippford Post Office. It is now closed and, at the present time, there is no word of it being opened again. The road up the hill leads to the Jubliee Path which goes through the woods to Rockcliffe, a mile away.
